Don't you have a TiVo set up in your office? Try it yourself, Once you get the problem, change the date on your computer to before Feb. 14 and the issue disappears.

The problem is that the Tivo is sending an expired cookie, so the web browser won't send it back.

To be specific:

Server: tivo-httpd-1:11.0k-01-2:652
Set-Cookie: sid=<some sid>; path=/; expires="Saturday, 16-Feb-2013 00:00:00 GMT";

It seems to send that expiry date no matter what.

That's amazing. I set the date to 2/13 and the transfer from TiVo to Desktop works. I won't say how many hours I have been working on this.

I am having the same issues and my research brought me to this thread.

The problem is most certainly DATE BASED because when I retard the date on the connecting computer to, say, a week ago (2/9/2013), it works just fine.  Both the Tivo Desktop and Tivo Web Interface downloads work fine.

To work around it, I created a virtual machine and am setting the system date to a year ago.  Let me know when you have defused the timebomb you inexplicably built into our Tivos.  Thanks.

Bruce Willis could probably defuse that timebomb with a paperclip, even with a few bullet wounds.  Laughing

I noticed the same issue today. No need to post pictures since mine look identical to what ws65711 posted.

If I roll back the date on the PC then the transfers work. If I set it back to the current date then the transfers don't work.

In Soviet TiVo, cookie crumbles you.

Seriously, notting over at TCF has already identified the problem.

The pictures that WS65711 posted is the same thing I am running into.

I changed the time on my PC and now I can transfer again.

This is not good for many of my programs look at the time and now they are not going to work!!!!

Oh wow, I was having the EXACT same problem, my screen shot is similar to others. I changed the date and it works.

I happen to have the Tivo transfer log enabled.  It shows activity before and after I changed the date on my computer to get transfers to work.

Hopefully more valuable than a screen shot. Wink
