More than one 4k tv?
Jun 16, 2017 at 11:25:31 AM  |  #1

What do you guys do if you have more than one 4k tV? I'm considering getting a Bolt+ with 5-6 minis. However, if there's more than 1 4k tv what do you do, since the minis can't do 4k. You can get more than 1 bolt or bolt+, but then Tivo will make you pay the service charge for both which is kinda BS, and makes me reconsider spending a couple thousand via TIVo on a unified system.

You do realize that 4K is relatively new? It's all kinda BS - not limited to TIVO.

Over the air - have you heard of any in the USA that are 4K?

Cable TV - Comcast isn't delivering broadcast or cable in 4K.

Netflix / Amazon - 99% of the content is NOT 4K.

Bottom line - you need to chill out and allow the programming providers to catch up to the technology in your fleet of 4K TVs.

Echoing @shakopee, I wouldn't be looking at TiVo for my 4K support. Check threads here and on TCF to get an understanding of where the vendors are with delivering robust 4K app support to the BOLT line.
