Failed. Call interrupted.

Help! I'm setting up my new TiVo and everytime it attempts the 2nd call, it fails during the download and tells me that the call was interrupted. No one has picked up the phone line, so what gives?

I've disconnected the power & phone line as tech support suggests, and started the Guided Setup again from scratch, but the same problem persists.

What do I do?

Try selecting a different dial-in number if more than one is available. You can also try, as an experiment, setting the "Dialing Prefix", in the phone connection settings, to ,#034 (pause, enter, 034) This tells the modem to slow down somewhat, and can be useful if the line is noisy.
