		You might get a few percent by zipping them, but basically they're already compressed about as far as they will go. Monster external drives are really cheap these days, and they're great to have around... Nov 20, 2009

		The .TiVo file format is encrypted MPEG-2 with a DRM wrapper. Authoring a DVD is more than just burning a file. It has to create .VOB files for the data & menus, and .IFO files to control the playback. ... Nov 20, 2009

		It's the first post I've seen like that, and with a hard-wired all new installation it should be working fine. I'd say it's definitely not a known issue. The MP3 player in TiVos is notorious for locking... Nov 19, 2009

		I think a lot of the services like Amazon check your IP address and won't work in other countries do to licensing restrictions imposed by the content owners. Nov 19, 2009
