iPod Conversion Seems Really Slow

How long should the conversion process (to the iPod format) take once a show has been uploaded to my PC?
I've successfully transferred a few shows, but conversion seems to take quite a while - I'd guess some 150-200 meg shows took 20-30 min. I have a 3.0 GHZ Pentium 4 with 1 gig (533 mhz) of RAM. |

I always do transfers and conversions over night. I know they are slow, but not how slow, because I have never hung around to see how long they take. Your speed doesn't seem unreasonable to me. You can speed it up by raising the priority of TiVo converter in your task manager if you want. Since you have a pretty speedy computer, that should not bog it down for other things too much.

Those ideas helped a little bit, but it still took quite a while to do the conversions. I'll be doing the overnight thing now.
