FIOS Video on demand

My Tivo HD doesn't receive the FIOS Video on demand channel.  Verizon claims that the cablecards aren't interactive and that is why it doesn't work.  Does anybody have any info about this problem?  Thanks

Current model Tivos with cable cards are not 2 way capable, so they can not order/select on-demand.

You should be able to get NHL Center Ice with TiVo.  I know several Comcast and Cox subscribers who get it with their TiVo and FIOS shouldn't be any different.

There have, however, been some reported problems with it.  In some cases the Guide Data wasn't available and you had to manually tune to the proper cannel. In other cases the provider (Comcast) coded the broadcast with a 0x03 copy protection flag meaning that the content had to be viewed within 90 minutes of download.

You'll have to check with your FIOS Franchise and give it a try.
